We're all about food, and
the community that gathers around it.
Welcome to Centre Kitchen Collective!
This is where our passion for community, sustainable farming, and community access to wholesome food intersects.
Founded in State College in 2023 by locals Sabine Carey, of Centre Markets, and Elaine Meder-Wilgus, of Websters Café, our non-profit organization thrives within the vibrant tapestry of central Pennsylvania's farm and food landscape.
Our vision:
We're paving the way for a vibrant local food hub.!
Through years and years of directly working with local farmers and small food entrepreneurs, we have heard community needs loud and clear.
Not only is there a large local demand for access to shared-used commercial kitchen space, our farmers and food producers are also seeking peer support, regulatory guidance and basic incubator support services.
Our food hub will be the one stop shop to provide access to growing marketing channels, commercial kitchen access, and basic business support for small food businesses and farmers seeking to create value-added products with their seasonal bounty.
We are in the process of transforming a historic mercantile building in the heart of Pine Grove Mills village into a bustling hub of culinary creativity and community connection.
