We're all about food, and
the community that gathers around it.
Welcome to Centre Kitchen Collective!
We believe that good food, thriving farms, and strong communities grow best together.
Founded in State College in 2023 by Sabine Carey of Centre Markets and Elaine Meder-Wilgus of Webster's Café, Centre Kitchen Collective grew out of years of listening — to local farmers, small food entrepreneurs, and community members who all said the same thing: we need more support, more space, and more connection.
Our Vision
We're transforming a historic mercantile building in the heart of Pine Grove Mills village into a regional food hub — home to a shared-use commercial kitchen, community programming, and Centre Markets, our partnering retail outlet bringing locally grown and produced foods directly to neighbors and visitors alike.
From kitchen access and marketing channels to peer support and regulatory guidance, Centre Kitchen Collective will be the infrastructure that central Pennsylvania's local food community has been waiting for — all under one roof, in the heart of the village.
We're in the process of making it happen — and we'd love for you to be part of it.
