At Twin B Farms, family isn't just a part of what they do—it's at the heart of everything they do. Owned and operated by Chad and Kacee Burke along with their four young children, their farm is a testament to hard work, dedication, and the love of agriculture.
Chad's passion for farming traces back to his high school days when he made a bold move and purchased five beef heifers. Today, that daring decision has blossomed into a thriving operation boasting over 60 brood cows, along with a variety of other livestock. From pigs raised using the innovative Swedish Deep Bedding Method to a flourishing goat herd, their farm is a bustling hub of activity year-round.
What truly sets them apart, however, is their commitment to sustainable practices and ethical animal husbandry. Chad and Kacee believe in being stewards of the land, which is why they employ techniques like no-till farming, rotational cropping, and cover crops to protect their soil and prevent nutrient loss. Their approach to grazing is equally thoughtful, with rotational grazing techniques that benefit both the livestock and the earth beneath their feet. Their beef herd is certified grass-fed, and the grain fed to the pigs and poultry is raised and mixed into feed on their own farm, a rare full circle scenario.
But more than just a farm, Twin B is a source of locally-raised, high-quality meat that you can feel good about putting on your table.
So, whether you're in the market for local beef, pork, goat, or chicken, experience the difference that passion, dedication, and a love for the land can make in every bite.
